What is the cancellation policy?

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice before the scheduled lesson will be charged. ​

If a tutor cancels a lesson, the tutor will make all reasonable endeavours to make up the session on a mutually convenient day/time.

Will there be homework for my child?

​

Possibly. It will depend  on the tutor and the progress of your child.  It may well be that  your child seems to be coping with the content and may not need homework.  Alternatively, the tutor may feel some additional practice might help with cementing a concept.  ​​

​

If homework is set, it can be distributed through the learning platform during the lesson. ​

What is the minimum technical requirements for online lessons?

​

• A laptop or desktop computer with a microphone (built-in or external) and webcam

• Reliable internet connection  - ideally 5Mb/s download and 3 Mb/s upload - if you want to know what your internet speed is - you can simply google ‘Internet speed’ or click on this link

• The latest version of a modern browser - recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

Optional for a better experience:

• Drawing tools - like a touchscreen laptop or stylus

• Earphones - only because it will reduce echo and block background noise
